Welcome to Chris Mawson Photography It is my sincerest hope that, as you view my images, my passion for what I do - and where I do it - is obvious. My goal is to capture an image that transports the viewer to the stunning landscapes of this beautiful country. I am overwhelmed by the reviews of my work and strive always to improve my craft. With the encouragement I have received from customers and fellow photographers, making the choice to pursue this professionally came quite easily. My black and white photography seeks to be raw and atmospheric, to capture the essence of what makes monochrome photography work, both artistically and emotionally. My hope is that my monochrome images carry within them drama, passion and art. While my first love will always be monochromatic photography, I have discovered great joy in producing colour photography as well, finding wonderful palettes in my surroundings and creating images of that one moment in time when the light, the subject and the feeling all come together.
